Culture:

  Croatia is a part of central European and Mediterranean culture and civilization circle. Rich cultural and historic heritage gives evidence of thousand year long presence of Croats in these parts. Specific urban culture of Croatian coast and island towns can be seen in towns like: Poreč, Rovinj, Pula, Zadar, Šibenik, Hvar, Korčula and Ston,  while Split with its Diocletian palace an Dubrovnik are part of  world cultural heritage under protection of Unesco.

 

Climate:

In continental Croatia the climate is mild continental, in Croatian highlands the climate cold with long and cold snowy winters, in coastal region of Croatia climate is Mediterranean with dry long summers and wet and mild winters. With average annual 2.600 hours of sun the Adriatic coast is one of the sunniest costs on Mediterranean . Average summer sea temperature is between 25  C and 27 C.
